A Greenfield woman was found dead inside her home and the victim’s husband has been taken into custody, police say

Police have taken a Greenfield woman’s husband into custody after she was found useless inside her residence Wednesday.

Greenfield Law enforcement were being identified as to the house in the 4700 block of West Maple Leaf Circle, right after an out-of-state relative questioned police to conduct a welfare check out simply because the relative been given info that the girl was dead.

Officers uncovered the 50-yr-aged girl dead inside the dwelling.

Later on, law enforcement and the victim’s husband, a 48-yr-outdated person, engaged in a transient standoff in Franklin before the person was taken into custody.

“This was a domestic incident and there is no danger to the public,” police mentioned.

An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday morning, in accordance to the Milwaukee County Health-related Examiner’s business.
