Watertown’s boys tennis team beats weather, Milbank in home dual

Watertown High School’s boys tennis staff moved its property opener within and posted a 9- twin victory around Milbank on Tuesday on the indoor courts at WHS.

The Arrows ended up also scheduled to perform Sioux Falls Jefferson, but that twin has been pushed back again to Thursday, May 5 at 1 p.m. in Brookings.

“We experienced a wonderful get against Milbank currently,” explained Watertown head coach Ryan Zink. “I’m grateful we could play inside with how the temperature has been.”

Paul Vocu, Curtis Sneden, Evan Meester, Jack Sjoberg, Jadon Lindner and Zandar Binde each individual recorded singles wins for the Arrows versus Milbank.

Meester-Sneden, Vocu-Sjoberg and Lindner-Binde teamed for doubles wins.

“I imagined all the young children played well,” mentioned Zink. “I know they will continue on to operate tough to get superior.”

Watertown is scheduled to confront Aberdeen Roncalli at 12:30 p.m. and Sioux Falls Roosevelt at 3 p.m. on Thursday in a triangular scheduled for Kuehn Park in Sioux Falls.
