There’s something for everyone at the 2021 Upstate Parade of Homes

The 2021 Upstate Parade of Homes offers a glimpse of the new home designs in Greenville’s most popular communities.

This year’s Upstate Parade of Homes, produced by the Homebuilders Association of Greenville, is expected to be better than ever. The vibrant South Carolina parade of homes is a source of vision, dreams and design ideas. Attendees have an opportunity to walk through gorgeous homes and see the latest design trends and floor plans.

The event will be held over two weekends, October 8-10 and 15-17, from noon to 5 p.m. each day. The 2021 parade includes 14 unique homes developed by homebuilders holding the association’s Approved Professional Builder distinction. This criterion means the builder has been vetted and displayed the highest level of professionalism, excellence and integrity in the industry. Prices on featured homes range from $180,000s to $600,000.

All roads lead to the parade

The Upstate Parade of Homes has become a go-to for those considering a new build for their first home, for those eyeing a step-up purchase, or for some entertaining custom dream home ideas. The parade has even been embraced by many merely looking for fresh interior decorating ideas, too.

This annual event is a chance for homebuilders, subcontractors and suppliers to showcase their skills, craftsmanship and talents. Thousands of people tour the Upstate Parade of Homes each year, excited for the innovative concepts these professionals bring.

The 2021 event presents communities throughout Greenville, Spartanburg and the Easley Corridor. The experience is enhanced by an app developed exclusively for the parade. Here’s a look at the best ways to enjoy this year’s Upstate Parade of Homes.

It starts with the app

The Upstate Parade of Homes is free for those who download the app through the Apple store. Users can preview all the properties ahead of time and schedule to visit the homes that suit their specific needs.

The app also provides virtual walkthroughs, “meet the builder” videos, and many property photos with key information about the homes. The app gives you a look into the neighborhood: the surrounding parks, school districts, shopping and restaurants in the area. A “notes” section allows visitors to jot down decorating ideas and other important insights. And the use of filters can help narrow down the information to the specific types of properties they want to see. And finally, after touring a home, users can use the app to snap photos, rate the property and post pictures on social media!

The builders and sponsors that make it happen

As it has in past years, this year’s Upstate Parade of Homes organizers brought together a wide range of builder types. While they each serve a unique buyer profile, they’re all anchored by similar energy: to develop quality, amenity-rich living environments residents can happily call home for years to come. The 2021 line-up of builders include:

  • Crescent Homes
  • Dan Ryan Builders
  • DR Horton
  • Great Southern Homes
  • Meritage Homes
  • Mungo Homes
  • Ryan Homes

Event Sponsors include Clark’s Termite & Pest Control, Piedmont Natural Gas, Palmetto Exterminators Inc., Nissan of Greer, Bilt Rite Garage Doors, Jeff Lynch (Appliance Package Sponsor), The Garage Authority.
